    Myanmar Restaurant Association (MRA )’s Divisions, States, Regions

    Myanmar Restaurant Associations have been formed into twelve region.  State Division for the smooth communication between the MRA and its nationwide members, and to fulfill the objectives of the MRA through the unity of Restaurant in the country.

    Find out the recent history of each site under consideration before you make a final selection.

    2. Tenants/ Building Background

    (a) Who were the previous tenants, and why are they no longer there?
    (b) choose your partners carefully for long-term mutual cooperation such as their background, Land & Building
    (c) The building is to be free from complication with the local authorities.

    3. Others Information

    (a) Need to pass procedure to get “ Restaurant license”
    (b) Need sometime to get “ liquor license” ( FL 9, FL 17 )
    (c) Labor wages for one person minimum kyats 3,600 per day
    (d) Difficult to find skillful labor ( Need to Train the people )

    Membership Form

    Members will now meet and have close  and friendly relationship amongst the restaurant owners for the first time. Members can share experiences and exchange ideas. Members may participate in domestic exhibitions like the recent “ Nay Pyi Taw Travel Mart and Food Show. Old Bagan “ Bu Pharyar” Night Bazaar and the current “ for Edu, MRTV4 and MRA ” sponsored “ Myanmar Cooking Master Contest ” Member may  also participate in overseas exhibitions , food and cultural shows under the arrangement of MRA. Members may attend the restaurant industry related Seminars  and gatherings , training sessions and classes to be con ducted by MRA.
